I was born in Sudan but grew up in Saudi Arabia. I then went back to Sudan for my undergraduate studies. I graduated from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, in 2007. I then did a year of internship in Saudi Arabia before coming to the UK and joining the NHS in 2009. I completed my General Practice training in 2014. Since then, I have worked in various roles as a general practitioner. I am currently based in Lichfield, with previous experience of working as a family medicine consultant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2015 to 2017. I am about to complete a diploma in diabetes care, which I started last May. I have had the pleasure and honour of serving as the SBPCA Treasury Executive Officer 2023-2025, and I am now re-elected for a further term. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, one of them autistic with additional needs. I remarried last month. In my free time, I enjoy keeping fit, yoga, reading, socialising and embracing the beauty of nature. I’m impressed by all of your profiles and look forward to working with all of you!
