Worked as an associate tutor with communication skills, clinical skills, and decision-making in primary care sessions, and Sunderland University. Highly invested in reflective practice, successfully submitted an academic dissertation in Reflective Practice Applications/challenges in Primary Care, Sunderland University, 2024. MRCGP international, Dubai 2018. As an IMG graduate of Alneelain University, Sudan, starting my first NHS job as a GP trainee has come with great challenges. Yet, I developed an appreciation for fellow IMGS struggles. I am dedicated to supporting colleagues during their training journey to maximise their experience and get the best out of this qualification. Worked with the Family Medicine Training Hub UAE, AHS, and Al Khabeesi Clinic, with a certificate of appreciation for participation in medical teaching from the UAE University, School of Medicine. I am a cofounder and member of the previously called Rahma charity organisation/current Atfalna, which has been supporting Mygoma children in Sudan since 2011. Documentaries enthusiast, strong supporter of human/women’s rights, music fan, and a proud mom of three!
